Inclusive Regeneration

WHEN

WHERE

WHAT

On 12 October 2026, our founder, Stanislava Boskovic, returned to her alma mater, the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio – USI, to give the lecture “Patterns of Inclusive Regeneration” as part of the Master’s course on Inclusive Architecture led by Dr Anna Bernardi. She argued that inclusivity goes beyond physical or intellectual accessibility. It also has emotional, cultural, memory, demographic, economic and climatic layers, which shape how we feel part of a place and take part in its life. Seen this way, inclusivity is a living relationship between people, places and the conditions they live in. Reaching it, she suggested, takes continuous learning and an open dialogue between technology and design, illustrated by PEARL, UCL’s Person-Environment-Activity Research Laboratory.
