On 6 November, following successful launches in Milan, London, and Stockholm, the Ramboll Design Excellence Book with #RDEF_24 forum proceedings was officially introduced in Dubai during the Dubai Design Week at the Dubai Design District.
Dr Hossein Rezai led an inspiring talk on design excellence and how the book addresses the key challenges shaping our industry today through four core pillars:
1. Design x Learning – Stanislava Boskovic shared her educational expertise and thoughtful insights on the evolving role of learning in shaping design practice.
2. Design x Environment – Raghda Said, environmental engineer, challenged traditional approaches to public engagement in sustainability and offered a fresh perspective on environmental responsibility.
3. Design x Technology – Rudy Riachy highlighted the responsibility we all share in leveraging technology and advanced tools to deliver designs that are environmentally responsible, optimized, and human-centric.
4. Design x Leadership – David Hutton, Managing Director of Ramboll Middle East, delivered an inspiring reflection on leadership as the ability to question norms and create space for free thinkers.
